Deep Minds of Faisal

Was meeting this artist few years ago at Indyra Art Exhibition. Good person with masterpiece in his hand and make it grown til today with the deep minds.

Faisal Syarif from Makassar been knowing art world since the young age from his father that an artist. He was watched him doing art activities till the thought of it growing in his mind. Then he followed some drawing competition and be a winner till teenager. At the end of senior high school he busy more at music world until turned back to the art world. He then took a major of art with a pride that he'll be ok with the choice. After all experiences he just know that can make a realist painting is not enough to explore the whole art world. The journey has began when he have study with Indyra at Jakarta and start following the exhibition at Galeri nasional. For Faisal have a time study with Indyra is the best. How indyra teach him about drawing sketch technique, painting with styles, make concept, till giving introduction about classic & modern art. Through this Faisal mind about art is growing too. For Faisal, every exhibition he followed have their own impression. Mostly he masterpieces talked about social, politics and spirituals. Here some of his masterpices.

Instalation titled Alphamatic that talk about relationship due to the same vibration frequency. He asked how people can get connected and understand this pattern.

This one titled as Smile Like Budha, its about the celebration of absurdity and mirorring from Sidarta Gautama process of life that picturing acceptance after dark soul phases till enlighten and become Budha. With an imagineer dialog : Marimar & her dog : " Fulgoso, the reality is hurt otherwise make enlighten". Deep talk is he, through his masterpieces. He is who he is. His message to the newbie at art is enjoying the process and find your own style, cause sometimes what we believe will be tested and need the proof, just be yourself.
