Tujuh Layar Menyisir Langit

In one go two exhibition were seen included this one titled Tujuh Layar Menyisir Langit by Iwan Yusuf. Once stepped to the entrance I was wondering what topic this is all about, till i found this one first,

What you've got at your mind? Well, when I saw this I see topic about the ocean and its treasure but not sure yet, until step again and saw this,

What a view to have this infront of your sight. Then I am looking at to this old boat frame and feeling about how the boat make. To know more I turned to another way.

Wow! Its Pinisi the legendary boat. Then I was read the the introduction from the curator and found sentence about Prince Sawerigading that used pinisi as his vehicle to do travel. Kinda smile to this because the story of Prince Sariwegading still not famous for them who lived in Javanese Island while I know a little bit of its story before. Otherwise, this artist just make the sphere vibes like the introduction goes whereas it shown that pinisi is the strong boat made by good hand of shipbuilders.

Just feel the vibes of its sphere! So noticeable. However the artist also pay attention to the issue today about the history of ships and their builder where now going to sea is no longer same as before. Also the situation at the ocean it self. Going to ocean today you'll end with see so many rubbish that endangering not only for the ocean ecosystem but also human life. Think this kinda exhibition is the good one for contain good reminder for us to more pay attention in an essential for protecting the balance of nature. Senang Bersamamu exhibition

2025 and took the time again to see what's around. And found this exhibition held at Selasar Sunaryo that been going on until July 27th, 2025. The exhibition titled Senang Bersamamu which is collaboration of Emina and Selasar Sunaryo.

At this exhibition you can see and enjoying masterpieces of 300+ people that isn't all artist. Even the piece of young children age below 5th and whoever with so many variety. The media isn't always in canvas but it could from paper, fabrics also knitting and some interesting installation too. The exhibition held in 3 rooms of the gallery and all room were full with those art. so fun to see. Btw here's some shot from the exhibition.
